Our Founder

Evangelist Elaine White
Elaine White founder of Wise Men and women of faith ministries

My name is Evangelist Elaine White.

I am the founder of Wise Men and Women Faith. As a young lady, a pastor molested me. I never told anyone, including my mother, because I didn't want to bring shame to her.

I later married a pastor and experienced domestic violence and sexual abuse. When I confided with "women leaders" of the church, I learned that they, too, had been experiencing some of the same issues. People told me to pray more and fast more. They said, "You don't want to embarrass or tear up the church." The pastors who would counsel me told me to be more submissive and trust God.

I cried to God, "God, am I here not to be loved? Why is it that the people who say they love me hurt me? Am I just supposed to sit back, be quiet and change myself? Only for those to protect their self-image? Lord, I want to feel loved and my children protected."

Then one day, I ran across a little yellow book by a well-known pastor and evangelist. There was a chapter about the lady who had a bleeding issue for 12 years. "In those days, the people considered her unclean and disgraceful, but when she touched the hem of His garment, the power of God healed her through faith and courage."

Those words spoke directly to my spirit and changed my life forever. He said, "I hear the cries of my people." Exodus 3:7-9. Thank you, Jesus.

Who would know that 13 years later, I would have the honor of meeting the Pastor in person at the age of 26? Then I heard the voice of Jesus say to me read  Joshua 1:7 - 9, "be of good courage."

I now continue my education under Bishop Sonny White,  of the Greater Missionary Baptist Church in San Bernardino, California. That's when I received my Pastoral ordination.
